Implementation of demand priority in water allocation in the Kone river basin

Abstract

     In this research, water allocation in the Kone river basin have simulated and analyzed as scientific base for socio - economic development and integrated water resource management by applying WEAP (Water Evaluation and Planning) model. It is also proposed to use a water balance model for the water management authority to support decision - making. Implementation of demand priority in water allocation by applying modeling is useful tool for integrated water resources management, especially for developing countries.
