Study on the effect of bridges on the flow of Red river system in Hanoi area

Abstract

    During recent years, there are some bridges, which have been or being built on the Red River and Duong River within Hanoi area. This would affect the natural flow and flood drainage of the river system. This study has determined the water level and maximum flood flow on different cross sections of Red River and Duong River in Hanoi area to evaluate the effect of existing and/or being built bridges on the flow of Red River and Duong River in Hanoi area.
