Issues in pump selections and pumping station for agriculture in Lao PDR

Abstract

     This paper introduces the considerable contribution of the water resources engineering, of which including pumps and pumping stations to the development of the national economy in general and to the development of agriculture of Lao PDR in particular. The paper also addresses to the insufficient issues in pump selections and pumping station design for agriculture in the past and proposes the solutions to overcome the mentioned issues in the future.
