Development of flash flood vulnerable mapping for the Ba and Kone River basin

Abstract

    Development of flash flood vulnerable mapping for midland, moutainous areas and river basins under influence of monsoon, storm, tropical low pressure, and tropical converge has become an urgent matte to reduce its affects. This article proposes a theory for development of flash flood vulnerable mapping and simultanously summarizes results achieved by applying GIS to develop these maps or the Ba and Kone River basin of Vietnam.
