Analysis flows of Red river delta

Abstract

     In recent years, the Red river delta is usually facing with the situation of lack of water in the dry season. It could be caused by the natural condition or the human's exploitation. In order to understand this issue, the author has used the linear regression method to recover the natural flows at Hoa Binh and Son Tay. Then these natural flows were compared with the regulated ones to find out some impacts of  Hoa Binh reservoir operation. Some hydrographs of typical year were also be considered.
