Application of mike 11 model in hydraulic and hydrological determination for Ba river basin

Abstract

     Annually, floods on the Ba river cause significant damages to the Ba river basin and to the downstream in particular. This paper describes the application of MIKE 11 model in hydraulic and hydrological calculations to assess inundation possibility as well as the flood reduction capacity of the existing and proposed reservoirs system in the Ba river basin in order to minimize flood damages.
