Study on propose of projects of dredge Nhue riverbed to ensure the demand of water supply in the fifth-month crop

Abstract

     Almost all of main channels of this irrigation system have been in bad condition after 75 years of operation. The deposit of silt raised the level of the riverbeds from 1.5 m to 2.5 m higher than design. That due to bad affect of water supply capability for irrigation in the fifth-month crop. In this study, the author not only introduced the results of the research on the evaluation of water supply capacity in actual situation but also defined the new widths of riverbeds needed to be dredge to meet the demand of production and socioeconomic development of Ha Tay, Ha Nam and Ha Noi in the future.
