Quality control and the operation, maintenaince of the geomembrane for small reservoirs

Abstract

    Checking and evaluating the quality of the geomembrane for the creation of small reservoirs is very important, which requires proper methods and tight procedures. During the construction, it is essential to ensure the safety of workers, equipment as well as pay much attention to the environment, operation and maintenaince for the structure. This paper introduces the research results; proposes the methods for checking and taking over the quality of the welding lines, (non-destruction methods and equipment: the testing methods using vaccuum and high frequency; destruction methods and equipment: the rules for taking the testing sample at the field site, the methods for testing the durability of the welding spots in the laboratory), safety during the construction (for workers, equipment, structure, assets and people) and the operation, maintenaince of the structure using the geomembrane, serving the construction of the small hydraulic structures with the storage capacity of less than 50.000 m3 water.
