Methods for constructing the geomembrane for small reservoirs

Abstract

    Constructing the geomembrane for the creation of small reservoirs to supply water for agriculture, people's living and other purposes is very important, which requires tight procedures and high techniques. For high quality construction, it is essential to have proper specialized equipment and skillful staff and workers. This paper introduces some research results; proposes construction methods as well as equipment, basic rules in installation, methods and equipment for welding, the way to connect the geomembrane with other structures, rules of welding lines, fixing wrong welding lines, welding the hole of the membrane, serving the construction of small hydraulic structures with the storage capacity of less than 50.000m3 water.
