Necesary of Environmental Accounting for Development Process and Approach Environmental accounting Method for Hydropower Development Projects

Abstract

    Environment and economic development of contries alway have opposite direction relations. If set up high target for economic development have to use more natural resources, it lead to capability to cause more pollution by industrial waste, influence the sustainable development and vice versa. So contries should to harmonious between economic development and environmental protection. To solution this situation, environmental accounting will determine environmental costs in process of the production and management to caculate all depreciation of natural capital in national economic accounting to get actualy value of GDP of the country in process development. The following Environment Accounting Cost Benefit (EACB) study for Hydropower project endeavours to put a value on the environmental cost and benefit associated with the development. Then adds these valuations to the economic costs and benefits of constructing and operating a hydropower project in order to get a picture of the change in overall social welfare associated with the development process of a project.
