Contact finite element model to analyze the anti-slide stability of gravity dam

Abstract

     Limit equilibrium method and the combination of finite element and limit equilibrium method are commonly used to testing the anti-slide stability of gravity dam. These methods are so familiar with many professional men. This paper briefly introduces the new method to analyze the anti-slide stability of Gravity Dam named by: Contact Finite Element Method.
