A study the effect of construction time on stressstrain state in ciment-bentonite slurry wall

Abstract

    Ciment-bentonitre slurry wall has been constructed for seepage control in several dams in Vietnam. Most of slurry walls were designed and constructed based on experiences. In this paper the authors discuss the effect of consolidation time and modulus of dam and slurry wall on stresses, deformation and possibility of crack appear in the slurry wall.
