A study on the determination construction cost of cement-Bentonite slurry wall

Abstract

    Bentonite slurry wall is a construction methods commonly used to waterproof treatment, reduce infiltration and prevent contaminated groundwater. This construction method has been applied in the work of repairing the dike construction, dams rehalibitation has brought very good results. Until now constrution cost estimated based on cost norm established by Bachy - Soletance first applied for Dau Tieng reservoir in 1999 which is too high. Furthermore the application of standards and policies of foreign consultants to projects Vietnam are in many cases not suitable Therefore, the construction estimate norms for the construction of cement-Bentonite slurry wall is a urgent task to determine the true costs in line with Vietnam's regulations, reducing costs.. In this paper the authors discussed the irrationality of applying the unit prices of construction Cement - Bentonite slurry wall (according to the norms of 2508/BXD-VKT) at current and proposed a method of formulating and apply for appropriate norms
