Results recommended the operation of water pump stations in beach of Buoi river in Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province

Abstract

    Thach Thanh is mountainous district, located in, the north of Thanh Hoa province. It is far from Thanh Hoa city 60 km. The natural area of Thach Thanh is 558.1 km2 with its topography is sloping from northwest to southeast. Buoi river is in the middle of this district, surrounding by mountains. The agricultural and residential area sandwiched between the Buoi river and hills, therefore, water supplied by pump totally. Irrigation system pump stations constructed along two sides of Buoi river to take water supplied for the district economy. In terms of climate change today, The amount of water to the Buoi River decreased, the inadequate water supply for the irrigation stations or the river water level lower than the designed water level in the suction pit, causing the pump station to stop working regularly occur. This paper presents the study of calculations and solutions for these irrigation stations to be sufficiently water-supplying and supplying water to the economic sectors in the district as a matter of current concern.
