Introduction water allocation software testing for Bang Giang – Ky Cung river basin

Abstract

     Water allocation is one of the most important outcomes of a water resources planning, espcially in the context of water conflict, scarcity, pollution in many regions around the world. In order to determine the amount of water that can be allocated, it is necessary to calculate a number of water resources components, possibly causing difficulties to understand by various water users who do not have water resouces background. The PB-BGKC software is therefore developed to provide friendly user interface to view water resources planning in a river basin as well as display the amount of water users can use, toward a sustainable development river basin. PB-BGKC software was developed based on the Bang Giang - Ky Cung river basin, whose source plays an important role in the socio-economic development of Bac Kan, Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces.
