Multi-criteria approach for basin water allocation: a case study of a transboundary Vu Gia - Thu Bon river basin, Vietnam
Abstract
The study proposes a watershed allocation framework based on hierarchical analysis (AHP) to provide a toolkit that supports decision-making processes in determining optimal allocation. The paper focuses on the optimal analysis of the water allocation plan with the results obtained as a priority and allocation ratio based on the AHP hierarchy analysis through the DAME model to find a common solution in Allocated to socio-economic development in the whole Vu Gia-Thu Bon river basin. The study to determine the water allocation scenarios for Quang Nam, Da Nang and the Thu Bon basin by 2020 based on a multi-criteria AHP analysis for four water users including cropping, industry, fishery with the result that the proportion corresponding to 5.27%, 25.06%, 58.12%, 11.56% corresponding to the scenario of Quang Nam, 1.60%, 42.80%, 49.60%, 6.00% respectively scenario Danang; 3.90%, 33.40%, 53.80%, 8.90% respectively of the basin scenario.
