Improvement in sinkhole dectection by ground penetrating radar

Abstract

Sinkhole is a serious hazzard to life and property. With the development of infrastructure in Vietnam, sinkhole appeared more frequently and seriously. The most effective and efficient method to detect sinkhole at early age is using ground penetrating radar. However, in some case, the accuracy of sinkhole detection is limited. In this paper, a brief introduction about technical problems and their solution for improvement in sinkhole detection is given.
