Guidance for rural house plans within newly urbanized architecture model
Abstract
Atraditional approach for housing compensation for people within urbanized land clearing projects in the rural areas is that the state provides compensation plan and allow people to resettle inside the planned zone.Typical house plans will be provided (for the people to build) by the project management department. However, these house plans are not optimal nor flexible and neitherfully conformed to the lifestyle of the locals. Lacking of a clear guidance for house plans in these areas leads to self-decision in building, in which, people often copy houses in developed urban area (e.g. Ho Chi Minh city), which results in building box-like and claustrophobic houses. Within the research framework of rural houses for people in the rural area, this article aims at providing a solution for house plans guidance in rural settlement.
