Entrepreneur and influential factors - A research in students of Economics and Management major in Hochiminh City

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to explore the factors that have influenced the entrepreneur of students whose major in economics and management in Ho Chi Minh City. The research determined the impact of each factor as well as the strongest one on students. The datas collected from 532 students from 14 universities in Ho Chi Minh City, and analyzed by SEM conduct the following conclusion: The entrepreneur of those students were affected by four elements, namely the awareness of students (β = 0.35, p = 0.000), the content of the training courses (β = 0.33 p = 0.000), the orientation of family (β = 0.24, p = 0.000) and the family’s financial ability (β = 0.16, p = 0.002). As can be seen from the results, the factor that most influenced the entrepreneur is the awareness of students. Furthermore, this factor is affected by the second one (β = 0.29, p = 0.000), and the last factor is affected by the third one (β = 0.52, p = 0.000). Some managerial implications were also given from the results of this research.
