Abstract
Two experiments were conducted at Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province to evaluate five peanut genotypes and to determine the rate of phosphorus fertilizer in 2008 spring cropping season. The peanut cultivar L20 showed significantly highest yield among the genotypes tested. The yield increased proportional with increased levels of phosphorus fertilizer. Among the P2O5 levels applied, (0, 30, 60, 90 and 120 kg per ha) it was found that a rate of 90 kg P2O5 per ha and 120 kg P2O5 per ha gave the highest peanut yield. However, the highest effeciency of phosphorus was obtained with the rate 60 kg P2O5 per ha
