Abstract

Recently, landslide in Khanh Hoa province has occurred more frequently cause significant impacts and damage. However, landslide risk level category in The Decision 18/2021/QĐ-TTg April 22-2021 of The Prime Minister isn’t detailed so it is difficult to warn risk levels and preparedness, response to landslide in the locality. Therefore, establishing landslide risk levels map by heavy rain in Khanh Hoa province which is very necessary. This research, risk levels in Khanh Hoa province is established from topographic, geology, soil, land cover, landuse maps, rainfall and sociological survey data. Geology, topographic, soil, land cover maps and rainfall data are used to establish hazard map. The hazard map is combined with sociological survey data and landuse map to establish landslide risk index map which is calculated by IPCC method. Besides, weights of components in IPCC is calculated by the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The weights of components were tested with the heaviest rainfall in 2018. Sufficiently reliable weights of components are used to establish a risk index map, the risk index is divided threshold based on The Decision 18/2021/QĐ-TTg and statistics index from landslide risk map.
