In this paper, we have investigated the application of luminescent complex Eu(III)-OTC for
identification of ATP (adenosine disodium triphosphate) in water. The Eu(III)-OTC complex is
prepared by the mixing of Eu3+ ion and OTC ligand (oxytetracycline) with a 1:1 molar ratio. The
luminescent intensity of the complex is at em = 616 nm, which is used for quantification of ATP. The
luminescent intensity dereases with ATP concentration according to the Stern-Volmer equation with the
linearity over range of 5,010-7  2,510-6M (coefficient correlation R2 = 0.9925) and LOD of 9,610-
8M. The Eu(III)-OTC complex is potential for ATP determination.
