ANALYSIS OF METHAMPHETAMIN AND CUTTING AGENTS IN WASTEWATER USING ULTRAPERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY TANDEM MASS SPECTROMETRY (UPLC-MS/MS)

Abstract

Ultraperformance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry was used for the simultaneous
analysis of Methamphetamin and 6 cutting agents Isopropylbenzylamin, Procain, Paracetamol,
Diphenhydramin, Dextropropoxyphen, Cafein in wastewater from the clandestine laboratory. This
method is employed solid phase extraction with the usage of HCX 3 (6.0 ml, 200 mg) cartridge. The
correlation coefficients of the calibration curves were 0.9979 – 1.000. The detection limits of investigated
compounds ranged from 0.005 ppb to 10.0 ppb. The quantification limits were from 0.01 ppb to 50.0 ppb.
The recovery value of 7 analytes was from 39.4 to 102.7%.
