Several substituted chalcones containing propargyl ether group in position 4 of benzene ring were
synthesized by aldol-condensation reaction of substituted 4-propargyloxy derivatives of corresponding
benzaldehydes and acetophenones. Potassium hydroxide solution in methanol was used as base. The 1H
and 13C NMR spectra of these compounds have been studied.
