Tóm tắt
This report presents the results of study on rare earth recovery from ion adsorption rare earth ores using
ammonium sulfate and magnesium sulfate as agents leaching. The obtained results showed that, at the same
concentration, ammonium sulfate agent has rare earth recovery efficiency higher than magnesium sulfate
with corresponding values of 85% (without Ce) and 82% (without Ce) at liquid/solid ratio 0.8/1 and 0.6/1
respectively. Heavy rare earth elements have higher leaching efficiency than medium and light rare earth
elements. Magnesium sulfate is an alternative leaching agent to ammonium sulfate to minimize
environmental impacts during mining. However, comprehensive research is needed to evaluate the
economic efficiency of the mining process using magnesium sulfate.
