Abstract

Employees and motivating employees are always a top priority of every business. Therefore, how to create motivation to retain employees is a problem, especially in information technology. The purpose of this paper is to draw out the factors as well as evaluate their impacts on employee motivation, thereby propose solutions to support motivation on performance and employee retaintion of information technology companies in Da Nang. The research results show that there are 06 groups of factors (corporate culture, working environment, business leaders and colleagues, salaries, benefits, training and promotion) affecting work motivation of IT staff in Da Nang; in which, business leaders and colleagues is the most powerful factor.
