VIETNAMESE LETTERS: NOM SCRIPT OR NATIONAL SCRIPT?

Abstract

In our history, there are two scripts  that have been used to write Vietnamese. They are Nom (demotic script) and Quoc ngu (Vietnamese script). This article introduces the argument about which script is more suitable, user-friendly and Vietnamese should choose between Nom and Quoc ngu to write Vietnamese? The author also shows some points of view about it. This only signifies in the domain of learning but it is very useful for linguistics students to know deeply our mother tongue.
