CAUSATIVE ACTIONS IN SOUTHERN FOLK SONGS

Abstract

From 461 corpus occurrences of the word dynamic range, modal verbs, and sub-sub in folksongs from the Southern states containing demand action. The article has shown the analysis and the interpretation a wide range of structural form of demand action. The results also make contribution to highlight the specific characteristics of the Southern language and culture.
