FERTILIZER APPLICATION IN THE WORLD FOREST AND PROSPECTS FOR VIETNAM

Abstract

Fertilizers in forestry began to be studied and widely applied in developed countries about half of the 20th century and showed a significant effect. Fertilizer not only increases the productivity of forest, but also has a positive impact on the environment, recovery and significantly improved soil nutrients, improving diversity and sustainable forests. Vietnam's forest area is increasing gradually, but the quality of forests is declining, leading to business efficiency is not high and forest ecosystems are not sustainable. Thus, more extensive researches on the issue of fertilizer applications for forestry can be applied on large scale mass to improve productivity, quality forests in Vietnam.
