Abstract

This study presents the design of a practical 4-wheel electric vehicle, with 4 seats. This electric vehicle was designed by a group of lecturers with the goal of being able to circulate within the school and serve as a teaching model with easy-to-find components and a cheaper price than electric vehicles on the market. This electric vehicle has been tested and achieved some results. In addition to having the usual features that an electric car usually has, the electric vehicle have some new features such as: anti-theft with a magnetic card, automatic wipers, and automatic lights at night. To design these new features, the authors used the Arduino Nano microcontroller kit, using the ATMega 328P microcontroller chip, magnetic card reader, light sensor, rain sensor.
