LEGAL FRAMEWORK ON JURISDICTION OF COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION IN DISPUTE RESOLUTION – INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VIETNAM

Abstract

Commercial arbitration is an effective method of resolving disputes, widely applied globally. Although Vietnamese law has a mechanism to resolve disputes by commercial arbitration, there are still many limitations that cannot meet the needs of international economic integration. In this context, researching and perfecting the law on commercial arbitration is necessary to meet practical requirements. Within the scope of this article, the author analyzes legal regulations on the dispute resolution authority of commercial arbitration in Vietnam and some other countries. Based on these analyses, the author makes proposals to improve legal regulations on commercial arbitration to better meet the needs of international economic integration.
