Abstract

In the context of the world economy having many fluctuations after experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war, the issue of economic forecasting is significant for each country. This study focuses on determining the factors affecting economic forecasting in the long run. The article emphasizes that factors, namely political stability, government policy, macroeconomic indicators, population structure, technology development, infrastructure, market and financial situation, are essential to ensure the accuracy of the forecast. Recognizing the role of influencing factors and their relationship to the economy has been critical in forecasting. The article provides a new approach to research and to effectively apply long-term economic forecasting methods in the country's economic planning.
