METHODS TO DEVELOP PROBLEM-SOLVING COMPETENCE FOR 5-6 YEAR-OLD CHILDREN THROUGH FUN ACTIVITIES AT KINDERGARTENS

Abstract

Developing problem-solving competence for children is an important and necessary mission. Through problem solving, children take in knowledge, skills and ways to solve difficulties in life; adapt to the development of modern society in the age of technology 4.0. In this article, we built some relevant concepts; presented expression of problem-solving competence; and clarified the factors affecting the formation and evolution of problem-solving capacity. Finally, some measures to develop problem-solving competence for children aged 5 to 6 are proposed through activities in kindergartens to secure development goals, including necessary skills and abilities for children ready to grade 1 in school.
