Vùng đất Tây Nguyên trong tiến trình lịch sử, văn hoá Việt Nam

Tóm tắt

The Central Highlands (Tây Nguyên) is a territory of Vietnam with a particularly important geopolitical position in the country’s strategy for national development, construction, and defense. Due to limited resources - especially written records - and, more critically, constraints in perception and scholarly perspective, the history of the Central Highlands, particularly prior to the 20th century, received little academic attention and was even deliberately neglected for a significant period. Approaching Vietnamese history from a holistic and comprehensive perspective, this study analyzes key data and milestones to shed light on the process by which the Central Highlands became integrated into the nation’s historical and cultural fabric. The research argues that, despite its late integration and the long, complex journey - often involving "indirect pathways" - the region has ultimately become an inseparable part of a unified Vietnam.
