Forcing the French to leave, occupying the Southern Vietnam, and aiming to turn half of the country into a neo-colony, the US has implemented many neo-colonial war strategies against the people of Southern Vietnam. The process of the Vietnamese people’s resistance against the US to save the country was fierce and tough for 21 years, it was considered a "historic clash". The process of the anti -American resistance is the process of defeating different US war strategies. In order to have the final victory on April 30, 1975, the process of conducting the resistance war went through many turning points, such as the Dong Khoi movement (1959 - 1960), the 1968 Tet offensive and uprising, and the Paris Agreement in 1973. Each event possesses a sense of victory in different angles but attributing to a single line that led to the general attack and uprising in the spring of 1975.
