PHÁT TRIỂN DỊCH VỤ BANCASSURANCE TẠI NGÂN HÀNG NÔNG NGHIỆP VÀ PHÁT TRIỂN NÔNG THÔN VIỆT NAM

Abstract

Bancassurance is an arrangement in which banks and insurance company form a partnership so that they can provide insurance benefits to their client base and themselves. This service was born and continued to prosper in many developed countries. In Vietnam case, bancassurance has been implemented in recent years and initially has brought positive results. As one of the prestige, leading commercial banks in Vietnam, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) has associated to develope of this service, the results of which is not as expected. This article assesses the current status of Bancassurance services at Agribank in recent years and proposes solutions to develop this form of service in the coming period.
