THE PROCESS OF INTRODUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF MEN’S SUIT IN VIETNAM

Abstract

During the French colonization of our country, cultural acculturation brought about a fundamental change in the clothing of the Vietnamese people. During the transformation, like other types of Western clothing, Men’s suits were introduced into Vietnam to complement the Vietnamese people with a style of dress suitable for modern society. During the development of suits in Vietnam, Vietnamese people have learned and mastered the technology of making suits and can design suits according to international fashion trends, suitable for the body shape of Vietnamese people, meeting the increasing needs of society.
