Abstract
The Test of English as a Foreign Language, commonly known as TOEFL, serves as a crucial assessment of English proficiency. TOEFL evaluates various aspects of the English language, encompassing Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills. Its primary focus is on the effective application of English in academic contexts, specifically to gauge how well non-native English speakers can perform in English-only academic settings. TOEFL presupposes that test takers have a strong grasp of the fundamental principles of English, and this proficiency is indispensable for success on the test.
