Anaerobic treatment of black cassava starch extraction wasterwater for recovery methane gas
Abstract
This paper aimed to ừeat black cassava starch w^tewater by an anaerobic digestion method to collect methane gas with low cost which is suitable option for the current status of the craft village. The results showed that, with using an basic anaerobic system heating and stirring by the input waste sưeam in 30 minutes, it could produce a biogas of 1.8 liter / U«ioa-day, the CH( concenưation was ranged from 54.4 to 64 %, the largest amount of CH4 generated reached 394,95 ml COD„„o„d or 434.4 ml CHVg TS and COD reduction was 98.75 % wth organic load rate 2.79 g COD / l.day versus two organic loading rates 2.33 and 3.49 g COD / l.day.
