Tóm tắt

Chitin is the second most abundant polysaccharide (after cellulose) found in nature. Theenormous amounts of chitin produced annually in the biosphere are degraded by chitinases. Chitinases are ubiquitous in nature, they occur in a variety of organisms from bacteria andfungi to plants and vertebrates. The enzyms are able to break down polymeric chitin to chitinoligosaccharides, and N-acetylglucosamine. Thus, chitinases have been proposed as targets forthe glucosamine's production for the arthritis drug preparation. For the comprehension of chitinase in the chitin's hydrolysis to yield glucosamine, we arestuding an activation of this enzymeThe chitin hydrolysis to yield glucosamine has been activated by Proflavin.
