Study of ground settlement during tunnel excavation in elastic rock mass

Abstract

The article builds equations and charts on the relationship between subsidence and technical parameters such as soil and rock mechanics coefficient, tunnel depth and tunnel radius. The scope of the study is only in elastic rock masses that comply with Hooke's law. To make the article more complete, it is recommended to conduct further research on non-perfectly elastic rock masses and use technical measurement methods for verification.
