Abstract

Nowadays, digital transformation is becoming a global trend, deeply influencing the field of education. This process brings profound changes in teaching methods and sets new requirements for the capacity of the research team. Improving the teaching quality of students plays a subsequent role in developing the quality of education in general, and is an important factor in the comprehensive reform of education. Therefore, higher education institutions cannot stand outside this trend. Lecturers are the central factor in creating a modern university, where advanced technology and effective cooperation between people and digital technology are prioritized. In order to train generations of learners who meet the requirements of the times and develop their own careers, lecturers need to be equipped with new competencies, in which digital competencies play a core role. This article focuses on an overview of the digital competencies of lecturers, thereby proposing some practical solutions that can be applied to lecturers at Quang Ninh University of Industry. This will be an important basis for lecturers at the school to build a roadmap to improve digital competencies, contributing to improving the quality of teaching in the current educational context.
