Abstract

Occupational accidents are an existential problem and challenge for all businesses. They directly affect the health and lives of workers, causing loss of life and property, disruption and increased costs enterprise production. Ensuring occupational safety and hygiene at member units and enterprises of Viet Nam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited is always given top priority. The Group in general and its member units have focused on investing heavily in financial and human resources for occupational safety and hygiene. Based on analysis and assessment of the current situation of hygiene and safety work, labor in recent years for underground coal mines of Vinacomin, the authors propose a number of solutions to prevent and minimize the risk of labor insecurity.
