Abstract

Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a special wireless network, with the advantage of being able to operate independently without dependence on fixed network infrastructure, low cost, and quick deployment. and high mobility. To improve the performance of communication on the Mobile Ad-hoc network, in addition to improving the communication protocols and routing protocols, combining the routing protocol with the communication protocol helps improve the throughput of the Mobile Ad network. -study. The article evaluates the performance difference between the TCP-Vegas communication protocol and the DSR routing protocol on the Mobile Ad-hoc network based on the following parameters: Successful packet delivery rate, throughput, packet drop rate. information and average End-To-End delay. Simulation results on NS-2 software show that combining the TCP-Vegas communication protocol with the DSR routing protocol with a mechanism to control the size of the transmission window according to RTTs performed better than when combining with routing protocol DSDV and routing protocol AODV
