Confucius's thoughts on the method of training to become a gentleman
Abstract
Confucianism believes that human society is divided into different classes, the most prominent of which are the gentlemen and the petty people. How to become a gentleman? Confucius believes that: to become a gentleman, one must steadfastly cultivate oneself. To train both physically and mentally, from speech, demeanor, one must practice according to the model of a gentleman, the iron will, the communication skills of a gentleman - an educated person. From there, find a reasonable method to cultivate oneself, perfect one's personality, build a healthy social cell, and complete the work assigned by the Party, the State and the people. The task of a gentleman is: to cultivate oneself, regulate one's family, govern the country, and bring peace to the world. In this article, the author boldly proposes a number of methods based on Confucius's perspective of learning and training to become a gentleman, absorbing and studying Ho Chi Minh's thought, Marxism-Leninism, and applying them to the new era.
