Abstract

Self-assessment and external assessment of training programs (CTDT) have now become mandatory and regular activities of universities. Evaluating training programs to find out inappropriate issues in order to improve the quality of training programs to meet output standards and social needs is an effective measure to improve the quality of training, the quality of higher education institutions as well as enhance the brand of the University. The process of evaluating training programs is carried out through stages: self-assessment and external assessment, based on domestic or international standards. The article presents some difficulties and some shortcomings discovered when conducting self-assessment and external assessment of training programs (CTDT) according to Vietnamese standards at Quang Ninh University of Industry. From there, propose solutions to implement the process of self-assessment and external assessment of training programs to ensure quality in order to meet the requirements of accreditation as well as improve and enhance the quality of training programs.
