Factors influencing the intention to purchase green products among people in Quang Ninh
Abstract
The environmental pollution situation in Quang Ninh, especially air pollution with fine particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5), is becoming increasingly complex and is seriously affecting public health, particularly in areas with high population density and industrial zones. This environmental degradation has negatively impacted the quality of life of the residents and has increased health concerns. In response to this situation, the need to protect the environment has become urgent, requiring effective intervention solutions.
With the aim of raising community awareness and promoting environmental protection behaviors, this study focuses on analyzing the level of air pollution in Quang Ninh, while also surveying the consumption habits of residents, particularly the trend of green consumption. The research findings show a positive shift in people's behaviors when choosing green products, contributing to the reduction of negative environmental impacts. This is a positive signal in promoting environmental protection and moving towards a sustainable consumption model in Quang Ninh Province.
