The role of ideological work in helping students identify and counter harmful information

Abstract

In the context of the rapid digital transformation and information explosion, Vietnamese students are increasingly exposed to multiple information sources, including harmful and hostile content. This paper analyzes the role of ideological work in orienting students’ perceptions, enhancing their critical thinking, and strengthening their resilience against malicious information. Based on the theoretical foundation of the Party’s ideological work, the article proposes several solutions to improve its effectiveness in higher education institutions today.
