The current situation of the impact of covid-19 pandemic on the regular nursing student’s life at Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2022

Abstract

A cross-sectional descriptive study on regular nursing students at Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2022, in order to describe the actual impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on the nursing students’ life. Research results show that the rate of subjects infected with Covid-19 was 16.0%, which means that 85.8% of the research subjects had a decrease in total income. Inconvenient study location and psychological depression, not interested in studies related to the infection of Covid-19 in regular nursing students with statistical significance, respectively p<0.05 and p<0.01. Therefore, schools need to actively support students when the epidemic breaks out, both physically and mentally, by promoting the role of the study consultant with nursing students in order to quickly grasp information and coordinate with the school to have a timely handling plan; Online lectures need to be richer in content and teaching methods, strengthen teamwork exercises, and help students to reduce stress.
