Status treatment management of type 2 diabetes patients at Ha Long General Hospital, Quang Ninh Province in 2022

Abstract

A cross-sectional descriptive study aimed at the status of treatment management on 230 patients who were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at Ha Long General Hospital in 2022. The results showed that 20.9% of patients get good treatment management and 79.1% of patients with poor treatment management. The rate of reaching the treatment goal was 46.5%; 53.9% of patients adhered to physical training; 78.7% adhered to diet and nutrition; 78.3% adhered to drug treatment; and 97.4% complied with follow-up visits. The research results showed that with the low rate of treatment management, it was necessary to pay attention to by doctors at Ha Long General Hospital to find out the causes and propose appropriate solutions to improve the rate of treatment management and improve patient care efficiency.
